Whether you're a first-time explorer, a veteran backpacker in town without gear, or just looking for a stress-free reprieve from the city, we have you covered.

+ HOW DOES TIA CHOOSE THE GEAR AVAILABLE FOR RENT?

We only rent gear that we’d want to use ourselves! You can always expect high quality, up-to-date and easy-to-use gear from our favorite brands. We have partnered with companies like Big Agnes, Black Diamond, Marmot, Osprey, Nemo, Thermarest, MSR, and much more.

+ How does it work?

Pick your gear, pick your dates, place your shipping address. We'll send the gear right to your door so you don't need to add another errand to your list. Go out, have a great time and once your done just slap on the return label and send it back our way, easy peasy.

+HOW EARLY SHOULD I RENT MY GEAR?

If you choose the “Ship it!” Option at checkout we will need 4 days notice to get it your way, if you have an event/coupon code then we’ll only need 24 hours notice! When we receive payment, your gear is reserved for you and only you.

+WHAT ARE THESE COUPON AND EVENT CODES I’VE HEARD ABOUT?

If you are hosting an event or have a large group of 4 or more heading out on a trip, let us know! We would be happy to provide you with an Event or Coupon code. We’ll discuss a specific pick up and drop off location to meet your members and the delivery fee will be waived for everyone who enters the pre-determined Event or Coupon Code.

+WHAT IF I DON’T KNOW HOW TO USE TIA GEAR?

No problem! TIA makes no assumptions about your outdoor skills. If it's your first time using a water filter or setting up a tent, we've got you covered. These items include a TIA made how-to guide so you can feel comfortable using new-to-you gear.

+WHAT IF I LOSE OR DAMAGE TIA GEAR?

We understand that there are normal wear and tear that comes with the outdoors. If there are damages that equate to over $50 in repairs, at the discretion of the TIAs, then you will be charged the total cost of repairs.

If your rental item is lost or if TIA deems that it is damaged beyond repair, you will be charged the full retail price as listed on our website.

+DO COMPLETE GEAR KITS INCLUDE SUNSCREEN OR SNACKS?

Between preferences and allergies, we leave the personal items up to you. We're happy to give you a few suggestions of our personal favorites. Just reach out and ask, info@tiaoutfitters.com

+WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?

Please notify TIA of your desire to cancel via email as soon as possible. If we hear from you at least 5 days before the date of your first rental night, you will receive a full refund. If we hear from you between 3-5 days before your first rental night, you will be refunded 70% of the total rental cost. If we hear from you less than 3 days before your first rental night, you will be refunded 50% of the rental cost.

+HOW DO I RECEIVE MY GEAR?

The reason our rentals are so affordable is because we operate entirely online (and don't have a storefront location). We ship the gear directly to your front door. Once your adventure is over just slap on the return label sent with your gear and send it on back. No need to let us know when you send it back, we’ll get a ping from the post office once it is headed our way.

+CAN YOU DELIVER DIRECTLY TO ME?

If you are within the 4 day period of heading out to your adventure, send us a note at info@tiaoutfitters.com and we’ll send you a quote for delivery if we still have gear available for rent.

+NOW THAT I’VE GOT THE GEAR, WHERE SHOULD I GO?
